On Sunday, 7th January 2024, we held our first beginner puppy class.
These puppies are just beginning their training journey; we laid the foundations first. This provides the basis for everything going forward. On Sunday, we started the puppies off with the basics: heelwork, sit, and direction changes. As the weeks go on, we will progressively turn up the dial on what we expect. All the handlers are going off this week to work on what they've learned.
Hans (Pioro Z Cudownego Lasu) qualifies for Open Field Trials
In January our handsome GSP Hans won first place at the HWVA Novice. This is Hans' second win which qualifies him for Open. Super proud of this boy.
Shaggy (Bareve Best Foot Forward) wins the Royal Kennel Club Open working test
In July our lovely GWP Shaggy won the Open at the Royal Kennel Clubs annual gundog working test held at Capesthorne. After only having Shaggy for 8 months he's turned out to be an absolute cracker and is the most loveable, kind natured and biddable by that gives 100% every time. Shaggy can be seen here modelling his prize of a gorgeous Tuffies bed
Shaggy pulls it out the bag again
In December Shaggy won first at the German Longhaired Pointer Club Novice stake. He was given the opportunity to shine at a well organised trial on a fantastic ground.
